A-Plus Floor Master® Chlorinated Rubber Based Floor Coating is a one-component modified acrylic solvent-based CRB coating formulated to provide superior outdoor durability and extreme abrasion resistance. It is easy to apply and cures fast to a semi-gloss film that can withstand abrasion, water, chemicals, and UV exposure. It is the choice of paint best used for exposed outdoor sports flooring where frequent exposure to sun, weathering, chemicals, and high friction occurs.

Specifications

Surface Preparation & Precautions

Concrete Substrate:

Ensure proper surface preparation by removing any oil and dirt by detergent cleaning.
Sand or use a mechanical floor grinder with large grit to roughen and level the surface, allowing the paint enhanced grip and adhesion.
Surface must be completely dry and clean before application of paint.
If previously painted, strip off all paint to bare substrate with A-Plus Supertanggal® Paint Remover.
MIX WELL BEFORE USING.
To repair large concrete surface imperfections, use either of the following:

– A-Plus Procrete® Low Viscosity Construction Epoxy – used for patching medium-sized concrete imperfections covering a large area.
– A-Plus Procrete® High Viscosity Construction Epoxy – used for patching larger-sized concrete imperfections covering smaller areas.

Metal Substrate:

Remove dust, dirt, grease, oil, wax and other foreign matter by sanding and using a rag soaked in paint thinner.
For repainting, use A-Plus Supertanggal® Paint Remover to strip off old paint film to bare substrate then remove oil and grease by solvent cleaning followed by scuff sanding. To remove rust, wire brush or strip affected areas after applying A-Plus® Rust Converter. Let it sit for 10 – 15 minutes before washing off surface thoroughly with water, letting it dry before applying paint.
Primer should be applied immediately upon drying of the surface before rust sets in.

Painting Procedure

For New Concrete:

Surface should be clean and dry, free from dust, dirt and other foreign contaminants. For repainting concrete, strip off loose/old paint to bare substrate.
First coat will serve as primer/sealer. Apply 1 coat of A-Plus Floor Master® Chlorinated Rubber Based Floor Paint at 25% dilution with its reducer using either a brush, roller, or spray. Allow to cure for at least 2 hours before proceeding with the topcoat.
Topcoat: Apply at least 1-2 coats A-Plus Floor Master® Chlorinated Rubber Based Floor Paint at 10% dilution with its reducer using either a brush, roller, or spray.
Allow the surface to cure overnight before subjecting to light traffic and 3-7 days before subjecting to heavy traffic.

For Metal Substrates:

Surface should be clean and dry, free from dust, dirt and other foreign contaminants. For repainting concrete, strip off loose/old paint to bare substrate.
Primer: Apply at least 1 coat of Glazer Galva-Plus® Epoxy Primer. Allow to fully cure before proceeding with the topcoat.
Topcoat: At least 2 coats A-Plus Floor Master® Chlorinated Rubber Based Floor Topcoat using either a brush, roller, or spray.
Allow the surface to cure overnight before subjecting to light traffic and 3-7 days before subjecting to heavy traffic.
