A-Plus StoneMax® Pure Acrylic Protective Clear Coat

A-Plus StoneMax® is a highly durable pure acrylic protective clear coat suitable for artificial or natural decorative stones, brickworks, stucco, pebble washout, cementitious substrates, and similar materials. It is a ready-to-use premium solvent-based clear coat that cures fast and enhances the substrate’s natural appearance while providing long-term protection from abrasion, efflorescence, erosion, UV from sunlight, and water damage.

Principal Uses: Protective clear coat suitable for artificial or natural decorative stones, brickworks, stucco, pebble washout, cementitious substrates, and similar materials.

Surface Preparation & Precautions

  1. Surface to be painted must be clean and dry, free from dirt, oil, and other contaminants. Vacuum substrate thoroughly then wipe with a dry cloth.
  2. Avoid applying under extreme environmental conditions and/ or bad weather conditions.
  3.  Do not apply on fresh concrete or high alkalinity surfaces.
  4. Remove any organic growth such as algae, fungi, or moulds with an acid solution.
  5. Chip-off loose surface imperfections that may affect product adhesion and integrity.
  6. MIX WELL before using.

Painting Procedure

  1. First Coat: Apply 1 coat of A-Plus Stonemax® Gloss using either a brush, roller, or spray. Allow to cure for at least 2-4 hours before applying another clear coat.
  2. Second Coat: Apply 1 coat of A-Plus Stonemax® Gloss or A-Plus Stonemax® Matte using either a brush, roller, or spray. Allow to cure overnight before doing any construction works.
  3. Clean up: Use A-Plus® Acrylic Thinner
